I combine video, hand-drawn elements and animation into a rhythmic visual language. Music and fashion often form the undercurrent, giving my work both a digital and a human presence. With a background in fashion design, I bring layering and style into animation. In the fusion of analog and digital, I create a visual language where the human remains tangible.

This project started as a tribute to A Forest by The Cure

The film combines layered video footage shot in the woods with 3D worlds created in Blender. At its center is a girl who is both tree and human. She wears dresses with hand-drawn prints, onto which projections of trees blend her even further into the forest.
